"Every morning you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams or wake up and chase them"
Finding it hard to get out of the bed in the morning to exercise? Try these five easy tips and you'll be hitting that snooze button less in no time!
Choose the right alarm: An alarm clock can either make or break your morning workout. It's important to choose one that can wake you up properly, but won't give you a fright. Don't press the snooze button, get out of bed as soon as your alarm goes off. If hitting the snooze button on your night stand is way too tempting, put your alarm somewhere that you actually have to get out of bed to turn it off. Once you are physically out of bed, it is much easier to get ready and go!
Prepare the night before: You are more likely to get out to bed when your alarm goes off if you mentally prepare yourself the night before. Lay out your workout clothes, runners & iPod and put a water bottle in the fridge.
Wake at the same time each day: Your body has an internal clock, and when you wake up at the same time everyday, it will be much easier to get out of bed.
Eat brekky: Eat just enough to give you fuel for your workout. A delicious quick and easy pre-workout meals is oats with 2 teaspoons of Bennie Blends Berry Powder + a banana.
Set goals and keep track: A great way to stay motivated is to set one easy goal, and make a plan of action to reach that goal. Keep track of your progress along the way until you reach that goal. Make it interesting. If you really, really, really hate running, do yoga, a dance video or weight session. If you at least somewhat enjoy it, you're less likely to sleep in and more likely to work towards your goal.
